Our team was involved from the very beginning of the project, starting with the choice of the domain name. We provided SEO at the development stage and then promoted the news website in Google search. After it reached top positions, we returned from time to time to audit the site and strengthen it with backlinks.
Most recently the client came to us with a sharp drop in rankings and traffic. The main task was to restore Google rankings and grow traffic.
We carried out a comprehensive audit to identify which technical and optimisation issues could have caused the drop in rankings and traffic. The audit revealed the main cause: the default language version of the site had been changed incorrectly — optimisation had not been transferred and no 301 redirects had been set up from old URLs to new ones. The audit also uncovered a number of other optimisation and technical issues. We prepared a technical specification and supervised its implementation.
We also integrated the site with the Google API to speed up page indexing.
We worked on getting the site into Google Discover.
We improved the site’s off-page optimisation factors.
