NERJ BUD — Catalogue Website with SEO & AIEO

Catalogue website for a stainless steel products manufacturer

Сайт НЕРЖ БУД — перила з нержавійки, головний банер

Client

NERJ BUD is a Ukrainian manufacturer of stainless steel railings, handrails, balustrades, entrance canopies and other products. In-house production, made-to-measure manufacturing, delivery and installation across Ukraine.

Goal

Build a website that sells made-to-measure products rather than “off-the-shelf” goods: it shows the price per running metre, design options and real projects, brings leads from organic search and is ready for customers who increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews for advice.

Structure and UX that sell

  • Catalogue by product type: railings, handrails, stair balustrades, entrance groups, wall guards, flagpoles, towel warmers and bike racks.
  • Product cards with the parameters buyers care about: tube diameter, number of rails, infill type, price per running metre, minimum order and availability.
  • One-click purchase and a prominent phone number in the header for customers who want a quick consultation.
  • 360° product view on product pages.
  • Project gallery with real installations, a blog, About and Payment & Delivery pages.
  • Trust signals: in-house production, delivery and installation, cash on delivery, warranty and a message from the company director.

SEO at the development stage

  • Keyword research and landing pages. Each product type has its own category with an H1 targeting the main query and in-depth copy: applications → design options → which steel to choose → how the price is formed → installation → how to order → FAQ → delivery cities.
  • Human-readable URLs: /perila/, /poruchni/, /ohorozha-dlia-skhodiv/, /vkhidni-hrupy/.
  • Multilingual setup: Ukrainian as the main version and Russian under /ru/, with hreflang and canonical tags.
  • Crawl budget control: sorting, filter combinations, search, cart and profile are closed in robots.txt, while useful filters stay open as additional landing pages.
  • XML sitemaps for pages, catalogue and blog with automatic updates.
  • Schema.org markup: Product, Offer, Brand, BreadcrumbList, ItemList and WebSite with SearchAction.
  • Speed: server response time ≈ 0.3 s, WebP images with lazy loading.

GEO & AIEO: a website ready for AI search

  • llms.txt — a structured file for language models: who the company is, what it makes, for whom, language versions, contacts and links to every category with descriptions.
  • Content Signals in robots.txt: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no — the site is open to AI search and answers that cite the source, but its content is not given away for model training.
  • Question-and-answer content. Category FAQs answer the questions people ask AI assistants: which steel to choose, how to care for stainless steel, whether railings can be installed on spiral stairs, what the warranty is.
  • Fact-based blocks: how the price is formed, steel grade comparison, “from” prices in the catalogue — the kind of specific data AI cites most often.
  • E-E-A-T signals: in-house production, a portfolio of real projects, a message from the director.

Analytics

We set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, heatmaps and session recordings (Microsoft Clarity, Contentsquare) to see where users get stuck on the way to an enquiry.

Why it works

A catalogue website for a made-to-measure manufacturer must show prices, options and examples of work and make contact easy. We combined this with a technical SEO foundation built before launch rather than bolted on later. Another layer is GEO & AIEO: when a customer asks an AI assistant where to order stainless steel railings, the NERJ BUD website already speaks the language models understand and cite.
